The “Guitar Sketch” project was born with the will to join together guitar virtuosity and cabaret. The two guitar players Michele Pirona and Andrea Maurizio can boast many different musical experiences, which enable them to get through world styles melting classic music, blues, jazz, rock, flamenco, etc. They keep the audience attention high, driving the spectator in a trip going through the different musical genres mixed with witty guitar tricks, an overwhelming medley of funambulism and comedy.

Michele Pirona has about a thousand of concert to his credit, he published six albums as solo guitarist and also played in more than twenty records of other artists. Andrea Maurizio is a flamenco guitar player, he performs with important international musicians and plays as concert solo guitarist in Italy and abroad. Together they create a very original duet, based on a strong interaction, such that they often perform on the same instrument at the same time or in not properly classical positions….

Original sketches, improvisations, virtuosity and explosive comedy  are then the ingredients of the performance of this duo, that will certainly remain in the audience memory as a very involving and unusual show!
